Pajama pants are simply the modern track pants. I wear them just about everywhere, but I wouldn’t wear my dressing gown or slippers out … oh wait, yes I have worn my sheepskin slippers out because I was halfway to the shops before I realized …

Yes, I’m in a small town on the W. Coast U.S. More people in the grocery store in PJ’s than dressed and dogs drug along for the experience. 🤣

Love your tales from the campsite! We travel full-time too, and pajamas and slippers are seen in public here in the US, esp for dog walking. it’s practically the dress code at Walmarts everywhere. I used to live in a college town and it was a fairly standard look for the kids out for breakfast or grocery shopping.

I love dogs but we don’t have one, I would find it very enjoyable to be in a campground with many dogs parading by all day!

I worked in some small US towns about 15 years ago. I regularly saw people in their PJ’s walking the dog and shopping. I even saw someone ‘walking’ their dog using a very long leash from their car. The dog was trotting out in front of the very slow moving car. Not sure if the driver was wearing pyjamas but I wouldn’t rule it out.

Oh that’s hilarious, walking the dog with their car, sometimes there really are things that are only in America!
