This was so inspiring. I also live on the road and am constantly having to create little corners for my creativity. It’s not been comfortable but I’m finding my rhythm. Can I ask how old you were when you did that first card for sale?
Amazing ! You have been flexible and adapted as you’ve gone on and don’t sound attached to material things prioritising your creativity which is unusual and inspirational.
Thanks Eleanor, that’s a different way of looking at myself that I hadn’t seen, although you’ll have a hard job prising my iPad out of my tightly clenched fingers, so I can’t say I’m totally unmaterialistic 😂
This was a wonderful read Jo. I loved finding out about your creative life, seeing more of your paintings, your studios, old and new, and your travels. I love this series and I’m looking forward to reading more. Such a relaxing and gorgeous exploration of your work 💛

Thank you and I hope you get to live and love it as much as I do!
To answer your question, I’m not sure but somewhere around my late thirties.
This is a second career for me, one I’m not really planning on retiring from 😊
Yesss! I feel like when you land on the work that you never want to retire from you have found what exactly what you were meant to do!
I love this! It makes me want to come with you (have you got room for my cats??)
Looking forward to reading more xxx
Thomasina would love a couple of cats for company! 🤣
Not sure they’d enjoy it so much, we do see travelling cats on the road though, there are plenty of them!
Brilliant, I’d love to take my cats travelling! I don’t think they would be so enthusiastic though. I think they have to be trained from birth.
Have you done a series of travelling pets? I’m sure I’ve seen a post of yours with a cat in it!
