Who is the Travelling Artist?

Hello, dear fellow inquisitive creatives!

My name is Jo, and I’m an artist and illustrator. The man at the window is Mr Dean, and the dog has disappeared. Rolling their eyes and thinking

‘Oh crikey, here they go again!’

A few years ago, we upped sticks, rented our home, and travelled in our motorhome around the UK and Europe, taking my art business with us.

I’m nosy, and I love people-watching. Observing life and noticing things inspires me a lot. I like to use my imagination when creating my art, and I hope it brings smiles and feelings of warmth and joy to others.

What you’ll get here for free:

I have an MA in Visual Culture, and in my pre-artist/travelling life, I worked closely with Tate Galleries, The Royal Collection, and The Barbican Centre. Having started my own creative business, I have a lot of experience and insights that you might find useful or at least entertaining!

I pop up quite frequently as a guest speaker for the Design Trust and their business club.
