So wonderful! I just returned from leading an art retreat in France-spot on with the pool, chateaux and wine tasting 💛 it was amazing, but there’s so many who can’t go and I always hear from artists looking for something in the UK. This looks so relaxing and calm!

Oh it’s an amazing place, so secluded and magical, you really could escape from the world here!

I agree. I love the door shadow painting too and it has so much mystery and life than the photo. Lots of great drawings and paintings!!!

EXCELLENT reason to buy more -- I'm always happy when I've actually used a whole tube of paint! The color I use up fastest is Azo yellow (currently using M Graham) It seems to be so useful as a base. All the other colors are needed on such a low volume since they tint so strongly (ex. Pthalo blue!)

Loved reading this first thing this morning. Just what I needed. I love all the photos that you posted. Your commentary was so real and fun. I would adore to participate in a week or more of this life. Thank you for sharing. Now I’m going to read again. (I loved your dog painting) and so many more.

Thank you Shelia! Just the feedback I was hoping for, I’m making a few tiny changes to what and how I write on here and this is just what I was looking for, more dog paintings to follow, I promise!

It looks absolutely wonderful Jo, I have often wished to do something like this, but like you initially said, the prices of them have me running in the opposite direction. Thanks for sharing all the links, and I love all the work you created.

Thanks Julia, yes this one was about £1000 for the 5 days painting and all food, 7 nights accommodation which I thought was very good value indeed. There are some which just look like a big money grab to me, but if you look around there are some Gems, Westcott being one venue, I like the look of Art Safari and I’ll be sharing any more I find!
